Networking for Effective Advocacy and Social Change: A Model Approach by Latina Lawyers

March 21, 2022

GHS Founder Mary T. Hernandez featured in the California Association for Bilingual Education’s Multi-Educator Magazine

Mary Hernandez is joined by four other former women Presidents of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), including former GHS Partner Dolores Atencio, as featured speakers at CABE’s 2022 annual conference this year. They will share their advice and experience on networking for advocacy and social change. Located in all parts of the nation and from a variety of Latinx backgrounds, they will share how they bolstered a pipeline of women leaders to serve not only in the HNBA but throughout the federal government and judiciary, including the U.S. Supreme Court, and how they continue to ensure that the contributions made by Latina lawyers throughout our nation’s history is known and taught to our nation’s future leaders. An article co-authored by Dolores, Mary and other former women Presidents on this topic is featured in CABE’s Multi-Educator Magazine.
