Garcia, Hernández, Sawhney & Bermudez, LLP is proud to join the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators (CALSA) and Imagine Learning in sponsoring the Administrative Leadership Symposium at the California Association for Bilingual Education’s (CABE) Annual Conference on Friday, April 4, 2014 in Anaheim, California. The all-day symposium will provide district and site leaders with an overview of key local and state issues impacting ongoing practices to ensure excellence and equity for English Leaders.
The symposium will feature State leaders and experts, including State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Torlakson, who together will engage in a discussion on the latest thinking on strategic implementation of the LCAP/LCFF, 21st century creative schools and student engagement. Attendees will receive the most timely and up-to-date information regarding the State Board of Education’s final regulatory decisions on LCAP and LCFF, which will be made in the weeks leading up to the Symposium, and their impacts on school districts’ policies and practices.
