Congratulations to New Partner, Ana Gallegos

San Diego, California – Garcia Hernández Sawhney, LLP is proud to announce the promotion of Ana Gallegos to join the ranks of the firm’s partners.

Los Angeles Office
Ana Gallegos, Partner

Ana Gallegos joined the firm’s Los Angeles area office in September 2019. Ana is a member of the Firm’s public law, education law (including special education) and workplace investigation practice groups. She also currently serves as outside General Counsel to the North Kern South Tulare Hospital
District.

Ana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from Stanford University. While pursuing an LLM at the University of Southern California Law School, Ana mediated for FEHA and the EEOC as part of the law school’s mediation clinic, followed by earning her JD from Tulane University Law School.

Ana brings deep experience in education matters to the firm, as she spent a number of years as a bilingual teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District before deciding to pursue a legal career.

It thrills me to accept this new role with GHS! Joining the ranks of partners is like being recruited into the Dream Team! I know that I will continue to grow and thrive working with this amazing group of attorneys. I am grateful to my colleagues for consistently modeling excellence, high standards, and integrity. As a partner I will proudly follow in those footsteps and use my skills and passion to provide our clients with excellent results.

Her time with LAUSD included roles in United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) as the Union Representative, Chapter Chairperson, mediating disputes between administration and teachers, as well as East Area Representative for the UTLA House of Representatives.

We congratulate Ana on her new role as GHS Law Partner!
