Ms. Riggs comes to GHS after a long and distinguished career that includes over 30 years with the US Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in San Francisco, California. Katie’s experience at OCR includes handling complex civil rights compliance reviews and addressing race, national origin, sex and disability. Katie is also a recognized expert on programs and services for English learners.
