Leah M. Smith is an associate in Garcia Hernández Sawhney, LLP’s San Francisco Bay Area office and a cum laude graduate of William & Mary School of Law. She is a member of the Firm’s education and public law groups.
During her time at William & Mary, Ms. Smith was a Legal Skills Teaching Assistant and was responsible for the co-instruction and evaluation of practical lawyering skills of 30 first and second year law students. Ms. Smith also served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, and Service Chair and Vice President of the Child Advocacy Law Society. She has a passion for working on behalf of children and other vulnerable populations.
Ms. Smith also worked as a Legal Clerk for the Sonoma County District Attorney in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley with high distinction.
