Daniel Peikes is an associate attorney at Garcia Hernández Sawhney, LLP’s Los Angeles area office. His interests include litigation, labor law, contract disputes and special education.
During law school, Mr. Peikes externed for the Honorable Terry J. Hatter Jr. of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, where he conducted extensive legal research, drafted bench memoranda and proposed orders on various motions presented to the court. He also externed for the Los Angeles City Attorney in the Affirmative Litigation Division, where he performed legal and factual research in connection with unfair competition cases. Additionally, he served as a research assistant for Vice Dean Russel Korobkin and for Professor Carole Goldberg focusing on negotiations, employment law, tribal law and behavioral economics.
Daniel received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from UCLA. He is biliterate in Hebrew.
