Nadia Bermudez Appointed as Vice President of La Raza Lawyers Association of California

On October 11, 2013, Nadia P. Bermudez was appointed to serve as Southern California Regional Vice President of La Raza Lawyers Association of California, a state-wide organization and network supporting Chicano/a and Latino/a lawyer groups. “I look forward to participating in the La Raza Lawyers organization on a state-wide level as a strong advocate for the progress of Latino/a attorneys,” Ms. Bermudez said.

Ms. Bermudez has been working with Latino-based organizations throughout her career. She is a former president of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association and is the current president of the Association’s Scholarship Fund. This year the Scholarship Fund awarded nearly $20,000 in scholarships and bar stipends to law students throughout California.
