Thomas Lloyd Smith


Thomas Lloyd Smith is an education and public law attorney at Garcia Hernández Sawhney, LLP. Thomas began his career as a management consultant before he founded and served as executive director of the Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy Charter Public School, a high performing urban middle school that has been commended for narrowing the achievement gap. While in graduate school, Thomas interned with the United States Senate and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

He is a graduate of The Partnership, Inc. Fellows Program for mid-career professionals. Thomas earned a B.S. Magna Cum Laude in Education and History from Seton Hall University, a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
