Faatima Seedat is an associate in the Garcia Hernandez Sawhney, LLP’s San Francisco office and a member of the Firm’s education law group. Ms. Seedat graduated law school with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate, focusing her studies on mediation and arbitration. While at USC Law School, Ms. Seedat was a Legal Research Teaching Assistant helping to teach law students the tools and skills needed for effective research. Ms. Seedat also served as a Graduate Student Government senator and peer mentor to first year law-students. Her passion to help address and reduce social disparities in communities pushed her towards law school and continues to guide her career.

A triple Trojan, Faatima completed her undergraduate, graduate, and law school education at the University of Southern California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Master of Science in Global Medicine. Ms. Seedat has prior experience working in the health industry and looks forward to transferring those skills into her law career.
